Kitchen Remodelling: 5 ways to achieve a great look.

If you don't want to embark on a full kitchen renovation, then these tips below will help you achieve a new look without being too difficult or expensive to implement. Little things do make a difference!
1. Doors
The best way to get a new look in your kitchen is to replace the old kitchen doors with new modern doors. Alternatively paint the doors to a colour of your choice. You could change the door handle, this is a very cost-effective way to get a new look. Just remember that you will need to make sure the new handles have the same fittings to the door. You don't want to drill new holes in the doors.
2. Worktops

Kitchen worktops can change the whole look of a kitchen. Laminate worktops are the cheaper way to remodel. Stone worktops will give you a more upmarket look but the cost will be higher.

3. Tiles

Changing the wall tiles will always modernise a kitchen. It is a great way to add some colour. Floor tile can bring an old kitchen back to life and give it a modern look.  Cheaper alternatives to tiles are, laminate flooring or lino flooring.

4. Lighting
Removing an old light fitting and installing ceiling spotlights can create a modern feel to an old kitchen. Installing Lighting in the cabinets or around the top and bottom will have the same desired effect.
5.  Appliances
Having a new appliance installed can modernise a kitchen. The sink and taps can be replaced with out too much trouble. Other appliances such as a stove, fridge or  washing machine can all be replaced with the greatest of ease.
