How to Hire a Scaffolding Contractor

As most building works are dangerous by nature, only qualified scaffolding Contractors should be used to erect and dismantle scaffolding.  The scaffolding contractor will need a Scaffolding Certificate to be able to carry out work that is over four meters in height.  If the scaffolding is less than four meters, the Certificate is not required but the contractor should still work safely as they have a duty of care.

A qualified scaffolding contractor will regularly maintain and service their equipment; however, when delivering scaffolding equipment to the site, the scaffolding contractor should always inspect the scaffolding to ensure that it is free of any faults or defects, especially in the welds.

It is very important to ensure that the scaffolding contractor is reputable and that they are willing to give you a price estimate or quote before any work commences. Always check with your local authority before using or having scaffolding installed to ensure that you are fully aware of all the rules and regulation for where you live.

Kluje can help you find a qualified scaffolding contractor by simply posting request for quotes.
